I still love Zara most of all

Even with all the booze the night before I still managed to rock it in Zara. That is the sign of a good shop I think, when even a cracking headache can't stop the clothes from being a hit. I was rather pleased with my purchases - two pairs of summer shoes (flat, black patent with a perspex insert - sooo now, sooo Chanel, and blue sandals), three dresses and a white linen Isabella Rossellini shirt. Now all I need is the weather to change and allow for bare legs, exposes tootsies and perhaps a light tan.

Oh, and my dad, lovely man that he is, bought me a new watch. A J12! This is truly exciting, but I have to get it refitted and everytime I go into Chanel I just want more. Like the perspex bag - it's so naff it's great and I'd love the challenge of having a bag in which all the contents are perfectly edited for their beauty as well as functionality.

I feel like I should take the time to quickly out myself as a Lindsay Lohan fan. If I don't do it now it will just get harder and harder to tell you, and our whole relationship will have been a lie. It all started with Mean Girls, then the Perezhilton blog back when it was called Page Six or whatever and he began posting pictures of her on the set of Just My Luck (a truly awful film, even if I did blag premiere tickets and see it for free). I just love her clothes, her clearly twisted life and all those fabulous poses she does to the camera when she's out having a gay old time.

Just Another Saturday

Gosh, this blogging thing is a bit strange isn't it? I could tell you that I've just paid a visit to Cos - the new store on Regent Street that opening yesterday, or that I found out that Abercrombie and Fitch opens on the 22nd of March, but I can't think why you be the faintest bit interested in these facts. Cos was great in that is impeccably done - the floor was what got my mother going, it is just divine. The clothes seem fab - great basics, lovely colours and reasonable prices. But as alwasy I have an issue...the blocks on colour are just too overwhelming for browsing, one can't see what the clothes are because it just looks like a lump white, camel or yellow. They've got to break things up more, I suggest thier floor merchandiser takes a trip to Zara, still the best on the high street as far as my expert opinion goes.
